Privacy Policy - Epic Auto School Publisher

Effective date: November 5, 2026

Epic Auto School Publisher (the "Tool") is a private desktop application that I, Azat Tananyan, use to manage the YouTube channel Epic Auto School - DMV Written Test Prep. This policy explains what the Tool does with data it receives through YouTube API Services.

YouTube API Services

The Tool uses YouTube API Services (the YouTube Data API and the YouTube Analytics API). By using YouTube features you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

Who uses the Tool

Only I use the Tool, signed in with the Google account that owns the channel above. It is not offered to the public, and no other person or channel authorizes it.

What data the Tool accesses and why

• Videos, playlists and thumbnails of my own channel - to upload my own videos (private or scheduled), set their titles, descriptions, tags, chapters and thumbnails, and add them to playlists.
• Comments on my own videos (comment text, the commenter's public channel name) - to read viewers' questions and post my replies.
• Analytics of my own channel (aggregated views, watch time, audience retention, traffic sources, search terms) - to decide which topics to cover and to improve titles and thumbnails.

The Tool does not access data of any other channel and does not show YouTube data to anyone else.

Storage and retention

• The authorization token is stored only on my own computer.
• Stored on my computer: the IDs and publishing status of my uploads, and aggregated analytics of my own videos. Analytics are refreshed from the API and not kept longer than needed to compare results.
• Comment texts are kept only while a reply is prepared and are deleted within 30 days.

Sharing

Data received through YouTube API Services is not sold, not shared with third parties and not used for advertising.

Cookies

The Tool is a desktop application. It does not place cookies or similar technologies on anyone's device.

Revoking access and deletion

Access granted to the Tool can be revoked at any time on the Google security settings page: https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions. After revocation the stored token stops working, and the data stored by the Tool is deleted. You can also ask for deletion by email.
